Are the BIMV courses accessible to everyone?
Most courses are accessible to everyone having a basic knowledge of maritime security.
Does BIMV origanize training sessions on fixed and recurrent dates? Or only on demand?
BIMV's strength is to have the flexibility to organize courses on demand. Nevertheless for some courses we have a calendar, i.e. "Bosiet-Huet" in Paris. This course we organize every second week of the month.
Do you need to have already a basic training to subscribe to the BIMV courses? For example the Bosiet-Huet training?
Not necessarily but for some of our courses a basic maritime training is recommended
How long does it take before the participants receive their certificates? And how long is a certificate valid?
Participants receive their certificates shortly after the last training day. Most certificates are valid for at least 5 years. After that a refresher course is advisable.
