- From April 2009, BIM can hold sessions for Advanced Fire Fighting in Paris (on demand with a 3 week notice) where a minimum of 5 candidates is required. Please contact us for more information, planning and booking.
- On February 2009 BIMV FRANCE has moved its Training Centre beside Roissy (Charles de Gaulle Airport).
- BIM is building up a Training Centre in port Gentil (GABON). Instructors are already availbale for some courses. Please contact us for possibilities, info and planning.
- Are the BIM courses accessible to everyone?
Most courses are accessible to everyone having a basic knowledge of maritime safety.
- Does BIM organize training sessions on fixed and recurrent dates? Or only on demand?
BIM's strength is to have the flexibility to organize courses on demand. Nevertheless, for some courses, we have a calendar e.g. 'Bosiet & Huet' in Paris. The training takes place every second week of the month.
- Do you need to have already a basic training to subscribe to the BIM courses? For example the 'Bosiet & Huet' training?
Not necessarily but for some of our courses a basic maritime training is recommended
- How long does it take before the participants receive their certificates? How long is a certificate valid?
Participants receive their certificates shortly after the last training day. Most certificates are valid for at least 5 years.
