Bureau International Maritime (BIMV)
offers training and certification to the maritime, the offshore and their related industries (public as well as private).

These trainings are in line with the international conventions and regulations, and are recognised by international authorities, such as the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

BIMV holds a pioneering position within this new market segment and differentiates itself, from the scope of activities of the traditional training centres, through :

  • An international network of motivated partners (in Europe, Asia, America and Africa), who are able to organise practical modules and tailor-made solutions which cover the client's needs.
  • Different locations adjusted to different needs. BIMV disposes of a network of training centres in several countries. Today BIMV has several training centres located in Belgium, France and Congo (Pointe-Noire), a new one is opening in Gabon (Port Gentil).
  • The flexibility of BIMV enables the company to organize trainings where they are geographically needed and to set even up temporary training centres within reasonable time frames (3 to 4 months).

In addition to its training and consultancy services, BIMV offers a broad range of other high quality services, such as:

  • Investigating and implementing corporate structures
  • Providing administrative services for those corporate structures such as incorporation of activities, statutory representation, accounting and financial reporting
  • Registration of vessels
  • Assisting in financing and re-financing of vessels
